The Monona Police Neighborhood Watch Program is a program designed to allow the community and police department to work in partnership to make our residential neighborhoods safe for us and our children.
I am Police Officer Bruce Rogers and in January, 2011, I was appointed as the Monona Police Department's new Community Resource Officer. I have taken the place of Officer Jeremy Winge and look forward to working with the community.
We are looking for neighborhood Captains who would act as a liaison between your neighborhood and the police department. The neighborhood Captain would receive crime alert notices to be distributed to the people living in a specified, nearby area. The neighborhood Captain would be responsible for relaying neighborhood concerns to the police department and working with the Community Resource Officer to solve those problems.
Please send me an email or call me if you are interested or if you have questions regarding this program. Once several neighborhood Captains are on board we will have a meeting to take this new program to the next level.
You may call me at 608-222-0463 and please leave me a voice mail if I am not available when you call.
